Description
A narrow, pyramidal tree growing to a height of 50 to 75 feet; spread of 20 to 25 feet. Short, soft, bright green needles are ½ to 1¼ inches in length. Grows best in full sun, but is more shade tolerant than other firs. Prefers moist, well-drained, acidic soil. Extensively used for Christmas trees and ornamentals. Needs very little shearing. (2-2, 5-10 in.)
